KS1

All KS1 children (Reception, Year 1 & Year 2) are entitled to free school meals regardless of individual circumstances - these are referred to as Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM).
Every child in Reception, Year 1 & Year 2 in state-funded schools will receive a free school lunch from September 2014. The government will fund schools in England to provide every KS1 child with a hot, nutritious meal at lunchtime. The aim is to improve academic attainment and save families money - over the course of a year the average family spends £437 on school lunches per child.

Allergies & Intolerances

If your child has a food allergy or intolerance, it is important that you have the information you need to make safe food choices. When selecting meals you can easily check if they contain any of the 14 named allergens.
By clicking on the 'allergen box' listed on each meal it will very clearly list any allergens that are contained in that dish.
Please ensure you check the allergen content of all meals - It is the parent's responsibility to order meals which are suitable for any allergies and intolerances their child may have.
