Today, Ash class welcomed a visit from Riverside vets along with Rolo the dog. The children were thrilled to meet the veterinary nurses and interact with Rolo.

The veterinary nurses brought in a variety of equipment, including stethoscopes, syringes, vial pots, hair coverings and gloves, allowing the children to investigate their functions and understand their applications in veterinary practice. Additionally, they provided a range of scrubs for the children to wear, enabling them to experience what it feels like to be a veterinarian. Each child had the opportunity to use stethoscopes to listen to their own heartbeats and to Rolo's heartbeat. Furthermore, the children were given teddy bears and bandages to practice caring for their stuffed animals.
