Our focus for DT this term was ‘making a puppet’. We had a whole week where we planned practiced different types of stitches. We found the skill of making a prototype and a template for our puppet tricky but with lots of resilience we made our template for our puppet. We decided to make puppet characters from traditional fairytales which we have been learning about in English. We were very lucky to have a parent helper and the Cowbit Crafters come in to help us stitch our puppets together!

All the children showed great perseverance and resilience to make their amazing puppets!
